📄Stellenbeschreibung

Our goal is to have a solar system on every roof, a storage unit in every house, and an electric car in every garage.

Enpal makes this possible with an integrated total solution for decentralized energy—from solar systems and battery storage to wall boxes, smart meters, and heat pumps.

At the heart of it all is our AI-powered platform Enpal. One +, which intelligently connects thousands of systems and efficiently optimizes electricity procurement and feed-in on the energy market.

Are you ready for solutions that are more than just a promise and bring real quality of life to thousands of households every day? What you create at Enpal will deliver clean electricity tomorrow and bring about lasting change in how we use energy.

What you’ll do

As Expert Technical Accounting (f/m/x) you will take ownership of complex technical accounting matters across the Group, advise senior Finance and business stakeholders, and help shape Enpal’s accounting policies, governance and financial reporting.

You take independent ownership of complex technical accounting topics and workstreams, partnering closely with the Head of Technical Accounting and senior Finance stakeholders.

You assess new business models, products, transactions and contractual arrangements under IFRS and HGB and develop robust, well-supported accounting conclusions for complex and judgmental matters.

You act as a trusted accounting advisor to Finance and business stakeholders, translating complex business developments into clear accounting implications and practical solutions.

You drive the implementation of technical accounting conclusions into accounting and reporting processes, working closely with GL Accounting, Group Accounting, ERP, Tax, Legal and other relevant functions.

What you’ll bring

You have a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a comparable field and several years of senior-level experience in Technical Accounting, Accounting Advisory, Group Accounting or Audit, ideally in a complex international organization.

You have excellent knowledge of IFRS and HGB and strong practical experience applying accounting standards to complex and judgmental transactions.

You have a proven track record of independently developing accounting conclusions and preparing high-quality technical accounting papers, assessments and audit documentation.

You communicate confidently in English; German is a strong advantage, particularly for HGB-related topics and statutory audits. A professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, Wirtschaftsprüfer or equivalent is a plus.

Are you interested even if you don't meet all the requirements? Apply anyway! We look forward to discovering your potential, regardless of whether your experience meets every single requirement. ☀️
