Awtomated is a Berlin-based Translation Business Management System that helps Language Service Providers (LSPs) manage their business more efficiently, streamline their workflows, and improve profitability.

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Executive (f/m/d) to join our team in Berlin.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Sales and Business Development within the language and localization industry , while working closely with an international team.

The ideal candidate is a confident communicator with a proactive and creative mindset, an interest in sales, and a genuine curiosity about building relationships with potential customers.

Tasks

Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, competitors, and new business opportunities.

Research and identify potential customers within the language and localization industry.

Generate and qualify leads through online and offline channels and contribute to lead generation strategies.

Conduct outbound outreach through email, LinkedIn, and phone calls to connect with potential clients.

Initiate conversations with prospects, understand their needs, and identify opportunities where Awtomated can add value.

Build and maintain relationships with prospects throughout the sales process.

Schedule and support sales meetings and product demonstrations.

Support the sales process from initial outreach through follow-up and closing.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in our CRM, including prospect details, communication, and sales activities.

Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, content, and initiatives that support business growth.

Assist with business development activities, events, and other initiatives related to expanding Awtomated's customer base.

Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and confidence when speaking with potential customers.

Strong interest in Sales, Business Development, and B2B communication .

Confident and professional communication style, including with C-level executives and decision-makers.

Proactive, energetic, and goal-oriented personality.

Comfortable reaching out to new people and starting conversations.

Ability to understand customer needs and communicate solutions clearly and persuasively.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently while also being an active member of a team.

A creative and curious mindset with a willingness to learn.

Previous experience in Sales or Business Development is a plus, but not required.

Experience using sales and CRM tools such as Apollo or HubSpot is a plus, but not required.

Fluent English is required. Additional languages, particularly German or Spanish, are a plus.
