Python Cloud Software Engineer (m/w/d)

Design, implement, and maintain backend services for managing and delivering complex digital content across multiple environments Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure smooth integration of services, tools, and processes Actively contribute to architectural decisions, technical specifications, code reviews, and testing strategies Promote best practices in code quality, security, reliability, and deployment automation Support the evolution of existing platforms while helping to create and launch new products Take ownership of projects of varying size and complexity, coordinating with international teams Identify opportunities to improve system performance, development processes, and internal tooling Help ensure a consistently positive experience for a large and growing user base The role requires up to 20% travel (mainly EU)

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 8+ years of experience in software engineering, including 6+ years in backend and object-oriented development Strong Python expertise with a focus on system design and production-ready code Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases Solid knowledge of authentication, authorization, and identity management (OAuth2, SAML, SSO, Entra ID, Auth0, Cognito) Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code and automated deployments (e.g., CDK, CloudFormation) Proficiency in Linux, cloud-native and serverless architectures Experience designing and operating microservice-based, containerized systems (e.g., Docker) Strong understanding of high-availability, scalability, performance, and reliability best practices
